Title: Extended School Care Program Assistant Reports To: Extended School Care Site Director Takes Direction From: Extended School Care Group Supervisor and Site Director Schedule/Calendar: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and/or 3:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Salary: $17.85 - $19.43, based on years of experience. Summary: The Extended School Care Program Assistant is responsible for assisting the Site Director in the preparation and implementation of daily activities, ensuring a safe environment, and monitoring the location and activity of the children in the group at all times. Essential Functions Responsible for assisting the site director/group supervisor with the preparation and implementation of daily program activities. Oversees the safety and location of all children in the group at all times. Ensures proper clean up and maintenance of toys, materials, and equipment daily. Follows all PA Department of Human Services child care guidelines. Education Required High School Diploma/GED Experience working with children preferred Certifications Pediatric First Aid and CPR EOE Requisite Skills: Pediatric First Aid and CPR will be required upon hire ADA Compliance Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions of this position.
