Schedule

Every other weekend required, no call. Orientation is 12 hours standard, with orientation hours varying by contract length.

Assignment Details

Daily census of 250 with 59 beds/rooms. Pre-approved time off of 1 day per contract, with a maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• GA or Compact RN licensure required at time of submission
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
• Telemetry competency required
• Experience caring for ventilated patients and continuous IV sedation preferred
• Dysrhythmia recognition and management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics
• Monitor and manage patients with primary stroke, CHF, STEMI, and chest pain
• Perform triage and assess patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for holistic patient care

Compliance / Notes

Full compliance required to start on time; late compliance may delay the start by two weeks. All compliance documents are due by Tuesday prior to start. Modules are non-billable and completed during orientation.
