Inpatient Psychiatrist Opportunity in Birmingham, Alabama
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified Adult Psychiatrist to join our established inpatient behavioral health team at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice in Alabama's largest psychiatric hospital , working alongside an experienced team of psychiatrists and advanced practice providers in a collaborative, physician-led environment.

Position Highlights- Full-time, employed (W-2) position
- Practice at Brookwood Hospital, one of Alabama's premier behavioral health facilities
- Join the largest psychiatric hospital in Alabama
- Collaborate with an experienced team of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners
- Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers
- Comprehensive multidisciplinary support staff
- Established patient volume with efficient workflows

- Phone call one night per week
- One weekend of call per month
- Shared call responsibilities with experienced providers

Requirements:Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Eligible for Alabama medical licensure
- Strong interest in inpatient psychiatry
- Comfortable supervising and collaborating with psychiatric nurse practitioners and physician assistants
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- New graduates and experienced psychiatrists are encouraged to apply
