Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care and support under the supervision of nursing staff, assisting patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, and mobility. The CNA contributes to patient comfort and safety, supports clinical staff with routine care tasks, and helps maintain a clean and organized care environment. This role involves working across multiple floors and requires compassion, reliability, and effective communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal setup.
• Provide mobility support such as ambulating and repositioning patients to prevent pressure injuries.
• Support nursing staff by collecting patient data including vital signs and assisting with specimen collection.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and care equipment.
• Assist with feeding patients and ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Float between two floors to provide care as needed.
• Communicate patient status and report changes to licensed nursing personnel promptly.

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current AHA BLS Provider CPR certification.
• Ability to perform basic patient care and assist with activities of daily living.

• Experience working in long-term care or similar healthcare settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare team.

• May be required to float between two floors within the facility.
• Work involves direct patient contact and requires adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

• Day shift schedule covering 48 hours per pay period.
• Shift assignments may vary based on facility needs and patient care requirements.
