Job Summary Performs field materials testing and construction inspection services in support of commercial, industrial, transportation, and public infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Include Performing in-place density testing, fresh concrete testing, documenting test results, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications, applicable ASTM/AASHTO standards, and client requirements. Coordinates daily with project managers, contractors, and clients to support construction activities while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service. Duties Perform nuclear density testing on soil, aggregate base, and asphalt to verify compaction requirements. Conduct ACI Grade I fresh concrete testing, including slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and fabrication of compressive strength cylinders. Prepare accurate field reports and daily documentation using electronic reporting systems. Communicate test results and field observations to project managers, contractors, and clients. Verify testing is performed in accordance with project specifications, ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and agency requirements. Coordinate daily schedules with dispatch and project management to support multiple active construction projects. Maintain, calibrate, and transport testing equipment in accordance with company quality procedures. Identify and communicate non-conforming conditions observed during testing. Maintain current certifications and participate in ongoing technical training. Follow all company safety policies, client safety requirements, and OSHA regulations. Represent the company professionally while providing responsive customer service in the field.
