We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Guardianship and Elder Law Department. This is a busy, hands‑on practice with meaningful client interaction and regular court exposure. Successful Candidate: The ideal candidate will have experience handling all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, motion practice, and making court appearances, both remote and in person, across various venues. Candidates should have experience with Mental Hygiene Law Article 81 guardianship proceedings, including both contested and uncontested matters, as well as familiarity with Medicaid planning, eligibility, and public benefits advocacy. The role also provides opportunities to appear in Surrogate’s Court and Supreme Court. This position requires someone who understands the importance of advocating for elderly individuals, individuals with developmental disabilities, and clients navigating long‑term care planning and public benefits. Strong writing and communication skills are essential, along with sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively with clients, court personnel, and adversaries. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. This is a fully in‑office position based in our Lake Success office, requiring a five‑day in‑office schedule. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Admission to the New York State Bar 4+ years of experience in guardianship, elder law, Medicaid planning, or a related field; candidates with 7+ years of relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment Comfortable working with attorneys, staff, and leadership across departments Salary range:

• $125,000 – $140,000 for candidates with approximately 4–6 years of experience
• $140,000 – $160,000+ for candidates with 7+ years of relevant experience
