What You'll Do

• Responsible for the proper operations and maintenance of the street sweeper and water truck
• Ability to coordinate maintenance activities with outside contractor and CMC maintenance department
• Ability to operate additional mobile equipment such as skid steer, forklift, etc
• Waste management (container management, manifesting, waste disposal and shipment coordination)
• Support with routine environmental inspections and record keeping not limited to Visual Emissions Evaluations (VEE) and waste inspections
• Support environmental sampling, sample preparation, and sample shipment management
• Communicate performance and maintenance related issues to facility personnel
• Provide day to day environmental compliance observations for designated facilities under the direction of the Area Environmental Manager
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Area Environmental Manager

What You'll Need

• 1 3 years related experience in mobile equipment operation
• Steel industry experience is preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain US EPA Method 9 Certification (Visible Emissions Certification), MCAQD Rule 316 basic certification, and RCRA and DOT certification
• Your Education High School Diploma or GED required
