After-School Site Coordinator: Lead Inspiring Youth Programs

Job Title: Site Coordinator Pay Range: $26.00 - $32.00 Status: Full-time, Non‑Exempt Schedule: 40 hours/week; shifts vary by location and may include evenings, weekends, and required trainings. Reports to: Program Manager Program hours of operation: 8:00 AM – 5:00/6:00 PM (varies by location) Locations: Moreno Valley Unified School District. Job Summary A Site Coordinator is responsible for the overall logistics of the after‑school program at a site. Site coordinators serve as the liaison for the program’s needs and information to parents, community members, school administration, and staff. They inspire and coordinate daily after‑school program schedules while ensuring a safe, fun, and positive environment for participants and staff. They oversee daily program operations and ensure that all staff are equipped to run a successful after‑school program. They supervise assistant site coordinators, community liaisons, and club leaders who supervise 10–20 participants daily, and manage staff schedules and daily enrichment offerings. Role Overview Ensure students are in a safe, inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment that embraces diversity for all program participants, staff, and families. Lead and coach the on‑site team to deliver high‑quality programs and provide positive customer service, promoting professional growth and development for all team members. Effectively implement site protocols, safety regulations, WR procedures and policies, and provide training or coaching to on‑site teams. Communicate with facilities management to ensure access to required facilities during program hours. Collect and review activity plans and program material lists from club leaders to develop spending plans within a given budget; coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure timely access to materials. Coordinate end‑of‑week theme activities, program mingle, and end‑of‑summer culmination. Coordinate field trips with the field trip coordinator, communicate trip details and requirements to parents/guardians, and serve as the lead WR team member on the trip. Maintain and submit daily student attendance records. Ensure activities meet the needs and abilities of participants’ age and skill level. Oversee staff schedules, approve timesheets and sick time via ADP, and coordinate sub/floater fill‑ins as needed. Participate in staff development trainings as required. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements FBI & DOJ Livescan clearance TB Test clearance First Aid & CPR certification (provided by WR) 1+ year experience supervising a group of children in a school or recreational setting 1+ year experience supervising or leading a team in a school or recreational setting AA Degree in Child Development or related field preferred (12 units of Child Development or related field) Ability to work well with young children and/or youth Good oral and written communication skills Computer literacy and willingness to learn Ability to use smartphone for work‑related business (WR provides Wi‑Fi/cell stipend) Successful completion of assessment test evaluating math, reading comprehension, and spelling skills For ABC Unified School District (Cerritos) candidates only: 48+ college units or ABC Unified Paraeducator Test completion Physical Demands Frequent standing during working hours Regular use of hands for tasks such as operating a computer and handling objects Frequently required to talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 40 pounds Work Environment The work environment is representative of an office setting with computer monitor exposure and typical workplace noise level.
