Compensation: $21.52-$21.52per hour- the position is eligible for a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Restroom Cleaning - sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Followcross contaminationprocedures.

• Office Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors.

• Cleaning halls and high traffic areas - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors.

• Cleaning entrances and exits - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.

• Trash -collect trash fromlunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker daily. Office areas-collecttrash according to schedule.

• Restocking supplies - restock supplies daily.

• Dusting -dustingin lunch/coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker areas, and dust free areas only.

• Cleaning stairwells - sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe handrails according to schedule.

• Cleaning portable showers - clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures.

• Maintaining lockers - clean and organize. Clean and rinse all equipment beforestoring.

• Wet/Dry mopping - wet/drymopeach floor according to schedule.

• Sweeping - sweep each area according to schedule.

• Communicating with customers - always be courteous and communicate in a professional manner when talking with customers.

• Mustbe able to work up to a 40-hour work week.

• Must complete andsubmita 'Questionnaire for National Security Positions Standard Form (SF86)' packet within90 daysof employment as applicable for secret clearance.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of work areas at PSNS, including waterfront areas is preferred.

• Mustbe able to work independently and as part of a team.

• 6 months of Janitorial experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability toperformthe following physical demands for extended periods of time with or withoutassistance. The physical demands of this position may bereasonably accommodatedfor individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to50pounds.

• May berequiredto reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

• Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also berequired.

• Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

• A valid state driver's license isrequiredwith the ability to obtain andmaintaincoverage byTessera'sinsurance.
