Kitchen+Bar - Bartender

Job Summary Under general supervision, this position opens and closes the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies and procedures. The role maintains the food prep and bar area clean and well‑organized while serving and assisting guests. Team members must present a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality at all times to promote the Drury culture with customers and fellow team members, and possess general knowledge of the hotel, area, and events to answer questions. Responsibilities Open and close the bar, obtain all supplies necessary for mixing cocktails, and clean and maintain assigned areas. Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast‑paced environment. Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, cocktail server, or other required positions. Handle money, make change, and utilize office machines in day‑to‑day activities. Operate machines and equipment including cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment. Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, and diplomatically handle difficult situations while exhibiting professionalism. Distinguish between different denominations of currency and make appropriate change. Qualifications 21 years old or older. At least one year of bartending experience; two or more years preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of two years of college preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate certifications per company requirements.
