Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Charleston, SC Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: CRNA – Anesthesia • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Charleston, SC • Service Setting: Hospital • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing - Minimum 3 months with option to extend • Shift Schedule: Weekend schedule - Friday & Saturday 13.5-hour shifts and Sunday 10.5-hour shift OR Saturday 13.5-hour shift, Sunday 10.5-hour shift, Monday 13.5-hour shift PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adult • Patient Volume/Census: 3–5 cases per day • Case Mix: General Anesthesia, Neuro/Spine, Orthopedics, Oncology, ENT, GYN, Urology FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 21 OR Suites • Trauma Level: Level I • EMR System: Epic • Specialty Backup Available: Full Surgical Specialties • Support Staff Available: Approximately 42 CRNAs PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60 Days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General Anesthesia • Neuro and Spine Cases • Trauma, Transplant, Robotics and Interventional Radiology Cases JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active South Carolina CRNA License • Certified CRNA • DEA: As Required • Experience: Minimum 3 years • Other Qualifications: Epic proficiency required; Must live more than 60 miles from facility DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide anesthesia services in a medically directed practice. • Work at Main Hospital, Ashley Tower and Rutledge Tower as needed. • Document in Epic. • Complete required orientation and training. • Maintain weekend coverage schedule.
