Overview Location: 7189 Meridian Road, Peyton, CO 80831, United States Base Pay: $23.50 - $27.50 per hour Job Category: Human Resources, Human Resources Generalist, Generalist & Recruiter Employee Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt Required Degree: 4 Year Degree The HR Generalist serves as the primary recruiter and talent acquisition partner for the ministry while also supporting core HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, HRIS administration, and compliance. This role helps streamline HR processes to ensure a positive employee experience. Responsibilities Lead and own end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for a variety of positions, ensuring effective candidate sourcing, job board management, advertising strategy, applicant tracking, hiring manager partnership, and successful onboarding outcomes Administrate pre-hire/post-offer tasks, background checks, I-9 verification, and HRIS onboarding Oversee and facilitate new hire orientation Manage employee-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors regarding benefits, policies, and other HR-related questions, referring sensitive or employee relations matters to HR Director Administrate benefit programs, including processing enrollments, ensuring accuracy in eligibility changes, maintaining records, and coordinating with benefit brokers and vendors Develop HR correspondence, job descriptions, spreadsheets, reports, org charts, and forms Process personnel changes, and update employee information and HR workflows in the HRIS system Process and manage FAMLI, FMLA, leave-of-absence, Worker's Compensation claims, and other related HR processes Review, track, and document compliance with all ministry required training, professional licensures, and other employee documents Maintain and update employee records (electronic, hard copy, and/or within UKG) Conduct ergonomic evaluations and coordinate with Operations team regarding equipment needs Oversee the review, ordering, and placement of employment law posters and updates Coordinate the exit process for departing staff, and schedule exit interviews Work with HR Director in revising the HR policies, procedures, and Employee Handbook Assist with the coordination, and development of training materials for staff development activities Assist HR Director with the performance management process within UKG as needed Perform additional duties as assigned by the HR Director Participates in staff development events and volunteer in-services Participation by all staff is required at Life Network’s major events Experience Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field preferred HR Certification preferred 2-4 years of progressive HR Generalist and recruiting experience Strong knowledge of Federal and State Employment Laws Experience with ATS systems and HRIS programs (UKG preferred) Qualifications Ability to quickly learn and perform advanced functions within the organization's HRIS (UKG) Strong aptitude to learn database programs and systems Proficiency in Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications Self-motivated with strong attention to detail Efficient, organized, and capable of prioritizing and multitasking Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both oral and written Flexibility in handling unanticipated and unusual situations Personable and helpful attitude Ability to handle changing priorities Possesses a teachable spirit and functions well in a team environment Classification & Benefits Classification: Full-time for 32 or 40 hours per week. Pay range: $23.50 - $27.50 per hour. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday. Reports to the HR Director. This is an onsite position.
