Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse Critical Care

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per week

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• At least two years of recent experience in the field
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Cerner experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
• Collect and analyze data pertinent to patient health and situation to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop and implement care plans while promoting a safe environment and evaluating the progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide care in a humane and caring environment.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Compliance / Notes:

• All associates are required to receive all vaccinations as a condition of employment.
• No specific color for scrubs.
