Disaster Recovery Systems Administrator

Title: Systems Administrator II Location: Work from Home Note: This is a W2 contract role – C2C, 1099, & 3 rd party candidates will NOT be considered We are seeking a Commvault Backup Administrator to support day-to-day backup operations. This is a hands-on role focused on monitoring jobs, troubleshooting failures, and onboarding new systems into the backup environment. The consultant should be able to step in quickly and work independently. Position Responsibilities: · Monitor backup jobs daily and address failures · Troubleshoot and resolve Commvault backup issues · Configure and onboard new clients and systems for backup · Perform data restores and validate recovery, as needed · Maintain backup schedules, policies, and retention settings · Provide basic reporting on backup status and issues Position Qualifications: · Strong prior Systems Administration experience, including experience in Disaster Recovery · Experience with Commvault Backup & Recovery · A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field .
