As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you’ll learn cutting-edge techniques, work directly with pets and their families, and grow in a supportive environment where your skills and compassion are valued. Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and therapists during exams and treatments, including laser therapy, acupuncture, and treadmill sessions. Manage patient records and assist with treatment plans, including documenting exercises for clients. Communicate with pet owners to gather patient histories and explain treatment programs. Maintain equipment, prepare treatment areas, and ensure the facility is organized and welcoming. Occasionally assist with diagnostics such as blood draws and radiographs under supervision. Skills and Qualifications Required Skills: At least two years of veterinary experience, including patient care and client communication. Strong computer skills and familiarity with practice management software. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Comfort working with animals of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Willingness to learn new therapies and rehabilitation techniques. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. A positive, team-oriented attitude.
