Graduate Civil Engineer (Construction)

Job Description Our client is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer interested in performing construction inspection and materials testing on exciting projects throughout the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.

This position offers a recent graduate valuable exposure to a wide range of construction projects and hands-on experience that will support their professional development.

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will inspect earthwork, reinforced concrete, and structural masonry and perform related materials testing.

The position also requires various certifications, and Pennoni will provide training and preparation assistance.

Job Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting codes and standards
Taking written and performance exams for certifications
Working in the field on construction sites
Performing material testing of concrete, soil, and masonry.
Performing field observations and writing comprehensive reports on a daily basis
Communicate and coordinate with supervisors, contractors, clients, and engineers
Maintain a reliable means of transportation and be on time for daily assignments
Capable of working construction hours which may include nights and Qualifications:
B.S.

Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study.

F.E./E.I.T.
