Operating Room Registered Nurse

We seek a dedicated Operating Room RN to join our hospital surgical team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality perioperative care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and ensure proper preoperative care.
• Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining a sterile and efficient environment.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition during surgery.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical techs for seamless procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical interventions and patient progress.
• Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Iowa.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in nursing (ASN or BSN) is required.
• BLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS certification required within six months.
• Experience in the operating room is preferred, but we are open to training motivated candidates.
• Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills.
