Specimen Management Coordinator

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Specimen Management Coordinator, you will precisely and efficiently manage patient specimens from collection to testing. Your oversight ensures specimen integrity, accurate diagnostics, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Monitors department workflow, assists the supervisor and team to balance the department workload. Practices positive patient identification at all times, with all samples. Performs phlebotomy, follows all applicable procedures. Responsible for troubleshooting, reconciling, and making appropriate decisions regarding specimen ordering and processing. Assists with dispatching of staff according to the business needs. Assists with staff training under the direction of the supervisor. Job Requirements High School Graduate General Studies and 3 years phlebotomy experience American Heart Association‑issued Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS) within 90 Days Location Phoenix, AZ.
