Rehabilitation Nurse

Provide specialized inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to patients recovering from various illnesses or injuries. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized, high-quality post-acute care aimed at optimizing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor medications and treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient conditions regularly and document clinical observations accurately.
• Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, rehabilitation exercises, and health management.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and documentation requirements using Meditech system.
• Maintain communication with team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with valid state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in rehabilitation nursing or related inpatient settings.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications in rehabilitation or acute care a plus.
• Demonstrate advanced clinical skills including IV therapy, use of specialty beds, and lift equipment.
• Ability to work 13-week travel assignment, with availability for 3 12-hour shifts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
