Quick Facts Location: 400 West Mineral King Avenue, Visalia, CA 93291 Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date: Duration negotiable Shift: Pseudo laborist coverage, schedule as per hospital needs Hours/Week: Flexible, based on hospital requirements Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: Active California medical license, Board Certified/Eligible in OB-GYN Experience: Minimum 2 years in OB hospitalist role preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay: $234.00 Pay Package: Discussed upon application Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Robust Referral Bonus Program Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, Certification, Travel, and Reimbursements provided, when applicable What You’ll Do Provide OB hospitalist services for unassigned and private patients in a hospital setting Cover Level III NICU with 24/7 anesthesia support Manage emergent GYN responsibilities as required Collaborate with community providers for backup during emergencies Participate in hospital deliveries, averaging around 4,690 annually Support residents from Family Medicine residency rotations in OB-related duties Work within a pseudo laborist model in partnership with local providers What You Need Active California Medical License and DEA Board Certified or Eligible in OB-GYN At least 2 years of OB hospitalist experience preferred Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Visalia, California, renowned for its commitment to quality care and supportive work environment.
