Customer Service Representative

Location: 1200 E Riverside Dr, Evansville, Indiana 47714 United States of America Customer Service Representative U‑Haul is searching for friendly, motivated people for the position of Customer Service Representative. You will work with a supportive team to represent U‑Haul’s service, help customers use our products and services, and maintain equipment by inspecting, cleaning, and managing trucks and trailers. The role includes using smartphone‑based U‑Scan technology to process rentals and inventory, completing required certifications, and participating in ongoing U‑Haul education. Responsibilities Assist customers inside and outside a U‑Haul center with U‑Haul products and services. Use smartphone‑based U‑Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory. Move and hook up trucks and trailers. Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels. Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services. Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental. Install hitches and trailer wiring. Fill propane tanks (certification offered through U‑Haul). Drive a forklift (certification offered through U‑Haul). Other duties as assigned. Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University. Minimum Qualifications Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Work Environment and Physical Demands The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts or machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. Protective clothing or gear, masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required. The work requires physical exertion, including long periods of staying stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, reaching objects at varying heights, and handling equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. (assisted or unassisted).
