Job Details

• Weekly Pay: $2300 to $2450

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Administer medications and monitor patients receiving moderate sedation
• Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures, including colonoscopies, upper GI procedures, and other specialized interventions
• Monitor patient vital signs and recovery status throughout the procedural process
• Educate patients and families regarding procedure preparation, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and procedures
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and quality standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Active RN License in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy, GI Lab, or Procedural Nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS Certifications required
• Experience with moderate sedation and post-procedure recovery care preferred
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
