Front Desk Medical Scheduler (Experienced) We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Medical Scheduler for a busy ophthalmology practice. The ideal candidate is dependable and able to open the office at 7:45 AM. Responsibilities include greeting and directing patients to exam rooms or testing areas, taking detailed phone messages for physicians, ophthalmic assistants, managers, and staff, scheduling appointments, and scanning patient records into electronic medical charts. Other duties include checking in patients and ensuring they complete necessary paperwork, checking out patients and scheduling follow-up appointments or procedures such as laser or cataract surgeries, creating paper charts for surgeries, verifying insurance benefits, collecting copayments and balances, responding to emails, and working on denied claims. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ronald E Mcfarland Md
