Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Senior Software Engineer, Applied AI to join our core centralized R&D collective in a full-time remote capacity across Poland. Operating as a critical technical anchor within our dedicated AI division, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability for designing, coding, and scaling the virtual agent capabilities that power our enterprise applications. Shifting completely away from routine script editing, superficial template configuration, or unoptimized demo creation, you will act as a principal AI applications architect—engineering real-world, high-performance production systems that handle complex reasoning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and multi-tenant pipeline connectivity. This position requires an internet technology veteran with 5+ years of production software development depth who programs robust backend logic loops fluidly natively using AI Engineer paradigms, structures complex data streaming pipelines smoothly natively using Python Scripting , and coordinates multi-platform global distribution system (GDS) API contracts confidently.

Key Responsibilities

• Production-Grade AI Systems Architecture: Design, develop, and scale advanced AI-driven backend services that power virtual agent workflows, conversational reasoning layers, and automation nodes cleanly natively utilizing AI Engineer tools.
• High-Throughput Data Pipeline Engineering: Construct and maintain performant, low-latency backend data streaming tracks, integrating multiple external APIs (including Amadeus, Sabre, internal databases, and third-party travel hubs) to drive real-time decision-making natively leveraging Python Scripting .
• Autonomous Agent Orchestration: Build, deploy, and refine production-ready AI agents and tool-calling structures capable of handling multi-turn business requirements independently without crashing.
• Retrieval Architecture and Indexing Optimization: Formulate and optimize complex RAG pipelines, managing text embedding vectors, semantic search parameters, and structural data retrieval weights to eliminate model hallucination triggers.
• Distributed System Performance Triage: Identify, track, and isolate processing bottlenecks inside Linux runtime environments, enforcing uncompromised concurrency, high observability, and reliable memory safety baselines.
• Rigorous Model Evaluation and Monitoring: Implement advanced testing and observability frameworks to continuously audit model behavior, semantic output reliability, and campaign accuracy indicators under heavy multi-tenant production scale.
• Engineering Practice and Code Standards Leadership: Own foundational architectural decisions for our distributed AI applications, defining clean-code best practices and driving the collective technical direction of the engineering team through robust code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of verified professional history running advanced backend software engineering, distributed systems programming, enterprise API microservices design, cloud database optimization, or technology product consulting.
• Mandatory Field Sourcing Experience: Proven, hands-on history successfully developing, deploying, or integrating commercial software products utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) within a real-world production setup (basic proof-of-concept exercises will not be considered).
• Deep, authoritative technical command of advanced AI agent mechanics, agentic workflows, multi-agent orchestration schemas, and tool-calling system logic loops.
• Expert-tier capability writing clean, object-oriented server logic, building data validation modules, and tracking system resources natively utilizing AI Engineer frameworks.
• Practical operational familiarity configuring data frames, parsing JSON records, and building automated processing scripts natively using Python Scripting toolsets (specifically requiring master-level Python programming fluency).
• Demonstrated experience operating with advanced developer orchestration frameworks, requiring direct functional familiarity with platforms like LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Google ADK, CrewAI, MCP, or closely related technologies.
• Strong, practical command of Linux server configurations, system shell runtimes, data encoding parameters, and Git version control workflows.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication traits in fluent English, enabling absolute confidence when defending complex architectural decisions before distributed international engineering nodes.
