Our work directly supports productivity, safety, and operational success across industries.We are growing and looking for a Communications Technician I, II, or III to join our field team.Position SummaryThis is a hands-on field role where you will help install, deploy, and support communications systems at active worksites. You will work alongside experienced technicians and leadership while building practical skills in satellite systems, networking, and remote monitoring technologies.This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and looking to build a career in field technology and communications.What You Will DoSupport installation and deployment of communication systems including Starlink, LTE, and networking equipmentAssist with rig-ups, rig-downs, and jobsite equipment movesHelp install and troubleshoot internet, camera, and remote monitoring systemsProvide basic technical support to field teams and customersConfigure and support networking hardware such as routers, switches, and access pointsAssist with camera systems and remote monitoring setupsPerform basic equipment maintenance and repairsCheck system status using cloud-based monitoring toolsComplete work orders, service logs, and inventory trackingMaintain vehicle logs and ensure proper equipment careFollow all safety standards and actively support a strong safety cultureAssist with field based rig set-up, moves, etc. as necessaryAdditional duties as identifiedWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredEnGenius Certified Network Specialist required1 year of hands-on or technical team experience preferredExposure to telecommunications, networking, satellite, or similar systems is an assetSkills That Set You ApartStrong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced field environmentBasic knowledge of networking, cabling, or electronicsInterest in satellite communications and remote connectivity systemsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamComfortable working outdoors in varying conditionsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasksTravel & Work EnvironmentThis is a field-based role that requires travel to active job sites. Overnight travel may be required and may include multi-day assignments.Work is performed outdoors in a variety of conditions including heat, cold, wind, and dust.
