Requirements

Position Summary

The Cath Lab Tech demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Graduate of an accredited school or training program.

• Maintains certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

• Maintains current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs.

• Maintains current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of MGRMC staff, management, and providers.

• An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.

• Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.

• Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.

• Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.

• Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.


Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience

• Maintains Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.

• Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
