Surgical/OR Technologist
1199SEIU Training and Employment Funds
Job Description Surgical/OR Technologists assist surgeons, nurses, and other essential staff to perform successful operations. They require a high school diploma, college degree, and state certification and licensures. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED/TASC required Graduate from an accredited educational program and be nationally certified Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the NBSTSA required 1 year minimum experience in an operating room preferred BLS certificate required Schedule All positions are in hospitals and nursing homes. These facilities are open 24 hours/7 days each week. General shift availability: Days (7a-3p or 8a-4p) Evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a) Nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a) Every other weekend is usually required for all positions. COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement COVID-19 Vaccination Is Required.
