We are looking for team members who are ready to be empowered to go above and beyond...Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Executive ChefJOB SUMMARYThe PM Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with hotel standards and recipes. This role supports the team by ensuring high-quality dining experience for guests, contributing to the overall operations of the hotel's food and beverage department.QualificationsESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONSOperational ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards along with following plating guidelines.Maintain cleanliness and organization of all parts of the kitchen and workstations.Assist with inventory management and ordering of suppliesGuest ServicesEnsure timely and efficient food service to guests.Respond to guest inquiries and accommodate special dietary requests.Maintain a positive and professional attitude with guests and team members.Team Support and TrainingAssist in training new line cooks as needed.Support team performance by collaborating with colleagues.Communication and ReportingCommunicate effectively with the executive chef and other kitchen staff.Report any incidents or safety concerns immediately.Report any concerns for a smooth service (ie prep, equipment or shorts)Safety & ComplianceFollow all hotel policies and procedures.Adhere to safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective time management and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well with a team and demonstrate attention to detailExcellent organizational skills and interpersonal abilitiesPrevious experience in a kitchen or culinary role is preferredWillingness to learn and grow with techniques and proceduresPhysical RequirementsSitting: OccasionalStanding/Walking: frequent, including standing for long periods of timeLifting/Carrying: Up to 50 lbs., such as food supplies and equipmentOther Physical Requirements: handling, grasping, and crouching as neededWorking EnvironmentInterior: Kitchen and food preparation areasBASICSMaintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas including storages and work coolersDisplay courteous behavior with guests and team membersReport any unsafe conditions immediatelyEnsure hotel equipment/ Kitchen equipment is in proper working conditionAttend require meetingsFollow company policies and proceduresPerform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisorEnsure kitchen standards are met for closing the restaurant downBASICS
