Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a contract position expected to last 13 weeks.

Night shift with a 3x12.0 hour schedule.

The Registered Nurse (RN) ensures high-quality patient care by following the nursing care plan. Responsibilities include supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, conducting comprehensive patient assessments, and developing individualized care plans. The RN is also responsible for medication administration and maintaining safety protocols.

• Conduct ongoing assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and functional needs.
• Initiate the nursing database and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Administer medications and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families.
• Monitor safety and fall risks for all patients.
• Respond to emergency situations efficiently and effectively.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs while ensuring appropriate completion.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the nursing team.

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required prior to the first shift.
• A minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
• Must maintain current nursing licensure as an RN.
