Summary Become a vital force in Firefly’s groundbreaking journey to Launch, Land, and Orbit! Our Supply Chain team is seeking sharp, energetic individuals with an unwavering eye for detail. As a Logistics Specialist you will be a critical member of the Firefly Supply Chain & Inventory Management Team. Be consistent, make meaningful contributions and have a single‑minded focus on excellence. Responsibilities Plan, schedule and manage inbound, outbound and 3rd Party shipments Receive items into inventory system Strong communication skills Strong organizational skills Record shortages and back‑ordered items Adapt and work under pressure Knowledge of all transportation modes, routing, and transportation regulations (focus on trucking, specialty equipment and oversized loads) Knowledge of International freight regulations Communicate with carriers, build relationships Leadership and collaboration Support Corporate procurement Support Engineering by tracking accurate, timely receipt of orders Prioritize tasks Process shipment requests and troubleshoot exceptions as needed Properly pack fragile and special sized items Qualifications Required 3+ years of logistics related experience BA, BS or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Project Management and problem‑solving skills Basic Math Skills Time management skills, ability to determine priorities and complete tasks on schedule Software operation and data entry skills with accuracy MS Office (including Excel, Word and Outlook) Possess a valid “Real ID” driver license, clean driving record Ability to pass Air Force background check Physical stamina to perform regular duties: Lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds Stand for periods of time Crouch, bend, and reach Desired Aerospace Industry Experience ITAR experience Experience working in a well‑structured automated receiving environment Odoo ERP/MRP JIRA Ticketing system Dangerous Goods certified Forklift Certified Benefits Firefly offers outstanding benefits for our employees, including generous health, dental and vision plans with low deductibles, parental leave, educational reimbursement, short‑term disability, pet insurance, and flexible PTO options.
