Responsible for delivering quality concrete safely and efficiently while adhering to all Federal, State, and local laws.Display a positive attitude, a professional appearance and demeanor on all jobs with all customers, both internally and externallyPerform pre-trip inspections: clean windshield, side windows, mirrors and cameras each time before leaving the plant or job site, check for fluid leaks, and consult Driver Vehicle Inspection Report notebookConfirm job site address prior to departureMaintain a clean truck interior and exteriorResponsible for the process of loading, handling, delivering and unloading of the product, including the slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, admixes, etc.Perform post-trip inspection, notifying plant manager of maintenance needs.Understand and/or knowledge with operation of Electronic Logging Device (ELD)Other FunctionsFoster a supportive role towards Lauren Concretes mission statement and core valuesSupport a positive and productive work environment and demonstrate a positive example for othersPerforms all other related duties, as assignedQualificationsSkills:Vision:Speech/HearingManual Dexterity:Physical Mobility:AbilityReport to work on time and on a regular basisRepresent Lauren Concrete in a professional manner in a variety of settings and circumstanceBe responsive to the expressed and unexpressed wishes and needs of our customersUnderstand complex functions, procedures, and processesExpress oneself clearly and conciselyAccept responsibility for quality and accuracy of personal work.Ability Lift 45 – 70 lbs. several times a dayAbility to climb up and down stairs up to 10 feet.Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.Ability to obtain a valid medical examiner's card.Education/ExperienceOne to three years of similar or related experience preferred.Must be 21 years of age or olderPossess a current Commercial Driver's License (minimum class B)Valid State of Texas commercial driver's license required along with a "violation-free" Department of Motor Vehicle record
