Seeking Digital Inventory Manager in Charlotte, NC

Digital Inventory Manager McKenney Salinas Honda Mitsubishi is seeking a candidate for the management of online inventory marketing and merchandising. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of online inventory management and merchandising and be able to support the dealer’s progressive vision for automotive sales; however, candidates with other marketing or internet experience will be considered and training provided. This person will be responsible for all aspects of online inventory management and sales through the use of market pricing tools and should be familiar with websites such as Autotrader, Cars.com, eBay.com, etc. and the tools within them used to promote the inventory. In addition to online inventory management, this person will also assist with other outlets of media, such as email marketing, social media, website marketing to promote the dealership’s inventory, community events, special-happenings, etc. Some of the daily duties include, but are not limited to: Assisting used car manager with the reconditioning process of used inventory for the lot and internet. Take pictures, print window stickers and print buyers guides for new and used inventory. Create custom video walk-aways of each used vehicle with voice-over commentary. Write custom comments for every used vehicle to tell its "story" and write custom comments for all new vehicles highlighting manufacturer incentives and update as new manufacturer incentives are released. Use market analysis tools everyday to manage inventory demand, cost and pricing, as well merchandising. Manage subscribed third party websites and company websites to merchandise and promote inventory, i.e., spotlighting in Autotrader, eBay and Craigslist listing, used car specials on website, used car specials email to customer database, etc., as well complimenting with on-lot merchandising. Monitor entire online presence of inventory, i.e., checking several websites on a daily basis to make sure pictures and pricing are updated accordingly. Other miscellaneous task include listing parts/accessories through online auctions, assisting in dealer reputation management process or any other related sales tasks as provided by management. Qualifications Excellent computer skills Excellent organization skills Internet marketing experience a plus Dealership experience not necessary, but a plus Experience with VIN Solutions a plus Experience with vAuto or other market pricing tool a plus Clean driving record and drug free Excellent compensation package offered.
