Deliver strategic initiatives to enable new payments and funding capabilities using core Java for the serverside, Angular/React for the web and DB2 SQL, SQL Server for the database. Implement a cloud first strategy. Work on the software development life cycle from system definition to deployment. Implement, design, and maintain assigned software components. Participate in software design and code reviews. Telecommuting permitted within commuting distance up to 4 days per week.What you’ll bring to the role:-Requires a Bachelor’s in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field-Requires eight (8) years of experience in the position offered or eight (8) years as a Software Architect, Senior Technology Associate, or a related role-Requires eight (8) years of experience with the following skills:Core Java application development;relational databases and SQLs;behavior driven development using frameworks including Cucumber, JBehave and Concordion;front end development using Angular or React;building event driven applications leveraging MQ or Kafka;cloud software development solutions;developing distributed systems using web services;working within an Agile/Scrum based environment;financial markets;Angular/React;DB2 SQL; andSQL server.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
