RN - NICU

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This is a flex position requiring predominantly night shifts, and candidates must be available for weeknights and weekends. The role involves working four 12-hour shifts per week.

Clinical Requirements

• Active RN license (or compact, if applicable to RI)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• NRP certification required
• STABLE certification preferred (please confirm if unit requires)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent NICU experience (Level II/III, confirm which applies to this unit)
• Experience with ventilator and high-acuity neonates preferred

Vaccination Requirements

• Flu vaccine required
• COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions)

Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• Common health screenings and immunizations are mandated (e.g., MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap)
• Fit Test compliance required
• Negative Chest X-Ray required for positive PPD results (annual TB Questionnaire may be needed)

Professional Requirements

• Nursys license verification for onboarding
• Completion of a skills checklist and specialty competency exam
• Criminal background check results
• First Look orientation packet review
• Non-Employee confidentiality Agreement for onboarding
• Employment verification process
