AP Specialist

Job Description Position Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy accounting team during a period of organizational growth. This role will focus on high-volume invoice processing, vendor maintenance, payment processing, and resolving vendor inquiries while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate has strong full‑cycle accounts payable experience, advanced Excel skills, and previous experience with OpenInvoice . Oil & Gas industry experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices and payment requests Ensure invoices are coded, routed, and processed accurately Set up and maintain vendor records and payment information Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice and payment status Maintain accurate documentation and vendor files Assist with additional accounts payable projects as needed Qualifications Required: 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience Previous experience with OpenInvoice Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment Preferred: Oil & Gas industry experience Understanding of general accounting principles Experience supporting high-volume AP operations Pay Details $28.00 to $33.00 per hour Search managed by: Blanca Gomez Benefits Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
