About the Role Wallace Electric is currently accepting applications for Industrial & Commercial "Electrician I" positions in the Metro Atlanta area. Responsibilities Installs, repairs, and performs maintenance on commercial and industrial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. Must be adept and skilled in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems. Responsible for performing specialized electrical tasks, including wiring, lighting installations, and upgrading electrical infrastructure. Experience in wire pulling, with knowledge of basic voltage colors and panel numbering. Efficient in conduit bending, able to install, bend, and run over 100 feet of conduit per day without assistance. Strong understanding of safety procedures, regulatory codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Highly proficient in electrical equipment installation, using analytical skills to interpret drawings and mount equipment accurately. Proficient in hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment. Strong problem‑solving skills, clear communication, and a methodical approach to prevent error while ensuring quality and safety. Physical capabilities: lifting equipment, operating machinery, standing for extended periods, working in confined spaces, indoor/outdoor in varying weather, and able to lift at least 50 lbs. 5–7 years of practical experience or a combination of practical experience and classroom instruction; completion of vocational/trade/technical school or a similar accredited apprenticeship is preferred. Qualifications 5–7 years of solid electrical experience within the commercial and/or industrial sector(s). Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial electrical systems. Detailed knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and diagram interpretation. Physical fitness to perform tasks requiring lifting, standing, and working in varied environments. Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
