About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Operating Room Preferred experience in Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, Spine License: Active VA or Compact License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: EPIC experience Ability to handle call shifts Description: Provide nursing care in the Operating Room. Participate in the surgical team as an essential member. Manage patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Maintain a sterile environment in the Operating Room. Collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals. Participate in the ongoing education and training related to the Operating Room. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Be prepared to respond to emergencies and complications. Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Support the surgical team with the coordination of care during procedures. Document patient care and advocate for patient needs. Handle call shifts as required, with 3-4 call shifts every 6 weeks for 8 hours each. Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with established standards. Attend training and complete necessary modules as required. Uphold professional standards and continuously seek to improve clinical skills.
