This position is a hybrid of an on-site educator as well as a data monitoring for continuous safe practice and performance improvement as well as bedside nursing as the needs of the department dictate. The Educator utilizes best practice guidelines to provide education, consultations, and clinical support to the multi-disciplinary care team. Demonstrates empathy and respect and collaborates to achieve expected outcomes. Meets the highest level of professionalism consistent with a Magnet hospital. This licensed professional position will have an impact on quality improvement and initiatives, safety practices, patient satisfaction, and physician alignment by developing individual nurses and changing clinical practice.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION:Required: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Master’s degree within 5 yearsPreferred: Master’s DegreeEXPERIENCE:Required: Clinical experience in specialized care.
