Construction Project Manager- Healthcare

General Contractor Project Manager We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Contractor Project Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion with various healthcare providers. Ideal Candidate Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience At least five years of experience in the commercial construction industry, overseeing all aspects of ground‑up projects in the healthcare sector The ability to manage more than two projects simultaneously and balance workload in a fast‑paced environment Strong leadership, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders Proficiency in project reporting software, MS Office, and blueprint reading Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, with a proactive and results‑oriented approach A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites Requirements Leadership: ability to supervise and lead the team Organization: ability to schedule and supervise multi‑tasking work of a multi‑member team Experience: mandatory knowledge in commercial building and construction and related sectors Problem‑solving: demonstrated good problem‑solving skills Communication: excellent communication skills with team members, project management, and customers Computer skills: computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Proficient with technology Must manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment Strong communication skills to interact comfortably with everyone from project owners to tradesmen Basic understanding of the construction process, including materials, equipment, and techniques Three to five years minimum of project management experience Travel is a requirement (up to 30%) Responsibilities Manage the project budget, write contracts, approve invoices, and update the project schedule Coordinate among subcontractors and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the job Organize, process, and distribute pertinent project documents Create the project schedule and develop short‑interval schedules for weekly coordination meetings Expedite documents and material/equipment deliveries to meet the project schedule Maintain cost control data and prepare cost reports Maintain mutually satisfying long‑term relationships with customers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and employees Conduct implementation and tracking of LEED requirements Administer document control for shop drawings, submittals, subcontracts, purchase orders, insurance certificates, bonds, RFIs, plans and specifications, warranties, as‑built manuals, notices to owner, liens, release documents, construction bulletins, change order requests, and back charges Review shop drawings and submittals to verify compliance with contract documents Complete subcontractor payment and vendor invoice processing Attend project‑related meetings and assist with the preparation and dissemination of minutes and attendee rosters Write weekly reports with notes from the superintendent Manage close‑out procedures and activities Ensure that safety rules and regulations are being carried out at the project site Physical Demands Employee typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed to perform duties Job requires approximately 70% sitting, 15% walking, and 15% standing Frequent repetitive hand motion, handling, reaching, bending, stepping, and lifting up to 20 pounds Stairs are required for fire drills and emergencies; elevator may be used where available Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
