We are seeking a career-oriented Structural Engineer who wants an opportunity to work with a wide variety of projects and industries and to quickly earn the responsibility of managing projects and clients independently alongside the rest of our diverse team of experienced engineers, drafters, detailers, and other professionals. Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Work directly with Senior Project Engineers and Executives. 
\n
• Assure all engineering work performed adheres to good engineering practice. 
\n
• Use knowledge, judgement and technical capabilities in the design and evaluation of projects.  
\n
• Visit project work sites as needed. 
\n
• Design, develop, implement, and analyze technical products and systems. 
\n
• Anticipate information needed for projects and taking the necessary action to obtain it. 
\n
• Consult with other engineers, clients, etc., as necessary throughout the life of the project. 
\n
• Effectively handle complex structural design and efficiently utilize company resources to complete projects. 
\n
• Coordinate and assume responsibility for all work done under their direction.  
\n
• Complete work on time and within the allotted budget. 
\n
• Comply with any and all other requests as made by other team members or managers. 
\n
• Commute to main office multiple times a week.
\n

Additional Responsibilities of Engineer II Positions

\n

\n
• Manage Projects from Marketing phase to Submission date. 
\n
• Supervise team members to ensure proper quality and communication of project requirements. 
\n
• Perform Marketing to targeted Clients to build work. 
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Must possess at minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Design. Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus. 
\n
• Must be thoroughly familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of Structural Engineering.
\n
• Must have thorough experience with engineering software programs such as RISA 3D, RISA Foundation, Excel, etc. and basic knowledge with AutoCAD.
\n
• Must be well versed with AISC, ACI, ASCE, NDS, and Building Codes.  
\n
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
\n
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions. We are not able to sponsor visas at this time.
\n
• Work experience in Structural Design is a plus but is not required for entry-level Engineer I positions. Engineer II positions require at least 5 years of experience in Structural Design.

• Engineer I (entry-level): $65k - $75k DOE + Bonuses
