Bilingual Shop Manager – Steel Fabrication

Midway Staffing is seeking an experienced Bilingual Shop Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced steel fabrication shop. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication management experience, is fluent in English and Spanish , and can effectively lead a production team while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Monday – Friday | Full-Time | Overtime as Needed
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hour

• Plan and manage daily production schedules and workflow.

• Assign employees to projects and monitor production progress.

• Inspect welds and fabricated products for quality and blueprint specifications.

• Communicate and provide direction in both English and Spanish.

• Monitor labor hours, inventory, and material needs.

• Ensure compliance with AWS, AISC, and company safety standards.

• Conduct safety meetings and oversee equipment maintenance.

• Coach employees, evaluate performance, and resolve workplace issues.

• Fluent in English and Spanish – REQUIRED.

• Must be able to lead and provide direction in both languages.

• Previous steel fabrication or structural steel shop management experience.

• Hands-on welding experience and ability to inspect weld quality.

• Strong knowledge of blueprints, welding processes, and structural steel fabrication.

• Experience leading fabrication teams and managing production schedules.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
