Co-op will work with R&D engineers, lab technicians, and operators in various aspects of the latex polymer scale-up process. Specific duties include learning quality-testing procedures, working with P&IDs, understanding batch polymerization, and assisting in creating procedures and recipes for various polymer batches. Attend daily operations meeting Observe process hazard analysis for various parts of the plant Modify/create polymer batch recipes Utilize excel to perform/optimize various tasks Modify/create process and instrumentation diagrams Validate JHA and SOP procedures for all work.
