Fire Alarm Technician

Under direction to perform highly skilled work in installing, repairing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems; to perform semiskilled and skilled duties in other maintenance trade areas; and to do other related work as required or assigned. Work Days: Monday - Friday

Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems, and a Fire Alarm Technician Certification. Effective October 1, 2024: If you have an AA, Bachelor's, or Master's degree, you must also attach a copy of your high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree cannot be submitted in lieu of a high school diploma, unless your official college transcript clearly displays your high school graduation date and the name of the high school from which you graduated.
