Designer II, NFL & MLB Apparel Graphic Design

Nike is building narrative-driven uniform and graphic design systems across NFL and MLB, and this role helps shape how those stories show up on the field and beyond. If you enjoy concepting with purpose and turning visual culture into ready-to-wear expressions, you will be part of the NFL Uniform Design Team, working onsite in Beaverton, OR . As a Designer II supporting NFL & MLB Apparel Graphic Design, you will partner across design, development, product, and brand teams to create storytelling concepts, presentations, and graphic visual frameworks. Your work will extend into sideline, training, and fanwear while connecting trend, design, and craft into design excellence. What you’ll do Lead narrative strategy , creative direction, and design excellence across multiple NFL and MLB uniform programs . Partner with designers, developers, product managers, and brand partners to build and refine creative that reflects Nike Design values. Develop storytelling systems and graphic narratives that shape the future of NFL and MLB uniforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate timelines, align on key milestones, support design feasibility, and deliver elevated solutions for both athlete and consumer needs. Communicate the story behind the work and build compelling Graphic Visual Centers and presentations for internal and external audiences. Extend concepts seamlessly into sideline, training, and fanwear collections. Drive Graphic Design excellence through the connection of trend, design, and craft . What you bring Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training. 1-4+ years directly relevant work experience. Passion and understanding of current and emerging design trends, along with strong awareness of visual culture. Ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling. Comfort adapting to change and balancing multiple, contending priorities. Professional visual and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present design intent to internal and external audiences. Knowledge of branding , typography , and visual identity . Ability to translate graphics into graphic applications such as screenprints, trims, and sublimation. Knowledge of apparel product creation and basic understanding of apparel construction. Proficiency in Adobe CC ; Adobe Illustrator proficiency is a must. Ability to embrace diverse points of view and encourage an environment of inclusivity .
