The candidate will cover various units including ICU, ED, MS, and NICU if experienced. The facility operates as a Level II trauma center and has three ICUs. Staffing levels range from 7 to 10 RTs depending on patient census. Responsibilities include providing ventilator management and critical care support. Experience with advanced respiratory modalities such as BiPAP and high-flow nasal cannula is required. Duties involve interpretation of arterial blood gases, extubation, and tracheostomy care. Candidates should be proficient in troubleshooting mechanical ventilation equipment. Experience in a NICU setting is preferred for applicable candidates. This position may require floating based on facility needs. The candidate must be prepared to participate in interdisciplinary support and collaboration. Please ensure all certifications are in compliance with requirements. A supervisory reference is necessary for submission.
