About the Role

The Company is seeking an AVP, Financial Systems with a focus on Workday Financials to join their dynamic and modernized accounting and finance department. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the transformation and optimization of the company's financial systems infrastructure, particularly in the design, development, and support of the Workday ecosystem. This role requires a hands-on Workday expert with deep technical knowledge in business processes, calculated fields, reporting, security, and validations. The AVP will be responsible for partnering with various stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver scalable system solutions, and ensure data accuracy across platforms. Experience with Workday Prism and/or Adaptive is strongly preferred, and the ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Applicants for the AVP, Financial Systems role at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have 5-6+ years of experience, with a strong background in financial systems and Workday Financials. The role demands a professional with a strong understanding of finance processes, experience in supporting global organizations, and a proven track record in system integrations, automation, and process improvement initiatives. The candidate must be a strategic thinker, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. This is a critical position on a lean, high-impact team, offering the opportunity to work with advanced Workday tools and be at the forefront of finance transformation and modernization.
