Senior Product Manager, AI

Funnel Leasing Inc. is hiring for a Senior Product Manager, AI. As the Senior Product Manager, AI, you will own the strategy, roadmap, requirements, and cross-functional execution of AI-powered experiences and platform capabilities across Funnel. You will be tasked with actively translating customer and business problems into scalable AI systems, agentic workflows, and shared platform capabilities across product lines. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Strategy, Customer Success, Implementation, Support, Finance/Operations, and external AI partners to take AI capabilities from concept through production. You’ll help define how we build, evaluate, and continuously improve AI agents and workflows, ensuring they are reliable, intuitive, and scalable while delivering measurable and sustained value to our customers and business. This role is ideal for a product manager or technical product manager who is comfortable operating at the intersection of AI, product, and engineering. You should be technically fluent enough to understand AI architectures and technical proposals, ask effective implementation questions, evaluate trade‑offs, and translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and decisions. You should be comfortable navigating the ambiguity and non‑deterministic nature of AI while bringing structure, rigor, and strong product judgment to how we build platform capabilities used across Funnel’s AI products. Roles and responsibilities: Own the AI platform product roadmap, including research, discovery, prioritization, delivery, evaluation, and iteration Understand, define, and document product requirements for shared AI platform capabilities, including agent configuration and orchestration, AI evaluations, guardrails, knowledge and context management, tool calls and integrations, observability, failure handling, and administrative controls Partner with Engineering and Design to build innovative and enterprise-level solutions that utilize AI and machine learning Collaborate with our AI Features team and other Funnel Product Teams to design and implement AI-driven capabilities that power user experiences related to admins, renters, and leasing agents Collaborate across the business and with external AI partners to identify customer and operational needs, clarify technical requirements and dependencies, surface risks, and align teams on priorities, assumptions, and next steps Use data, customer feedback, support trends, evaluations, and post-launch performance to continuously improve AI platform quality and reliability Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize AI systems and agent behaviors, strengthen guardrails, reduce failure modes and escalations, and ensure issues can be efficiently detected, triaged, and resolved Drive successful adoption of AI platform capabilities by coordinating launches, release communications, training, and internal enablement while fostering a culture of cross‑functional collaboration, continuous learning, and improvement Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion Create a culture of continuous improvement and learning Foster collaboration within team and across the company Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion Education, Work Experience, and Certifications 5+ years experience as a Product Manager, ideally with ownership of AI agents or AI‑powered products Direct experience building or managing AI agents that operate across conversational channels such as voice, chat, SMS, and email B2B SaaS experience using and understanding the capabilities of frontier LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) Ability to design, test, and refine prompts that clearly define AI behavior, context, constraints, and expected outcomes Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and the core concepts behind modern conversational and agentic AI systems Understanding of AI context and knowledge retrieval approaches, including Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), Context‑Augmented Generation (CAG), agentic retrieval, embeddings, and vector databases Strong ability to break down complex AI systems, agent behaviors, and platform capabilities into clear product requirements and pragmatic, phased delivery plans Experience with AI development and observability frameworks such as LangChain, LangSmith, or similar tools is strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field strongly preferred Excellent cross‑functional communication skills, especially with Engineering, Design, Operations, Support, and customer‑facing teams Ability to operate in ambiguity, ask the right questions, and bring structure to complex problem spaces Detail orientation, especially around accuracy, error states, permissions, and operational impact Experience leveraging AI within the product management/SDLC lifecycle Experience working with and managing vendor relationships for third‑party integrations Nice to Have Experience in property management, multifamily, proptech, leasing, CRM, or resident experience software (optional) Key Traits for Success Systems thinker: You can understand how works and and how it can be applied to solve different problems across product surfaces AI + Human: You understand where AI can create meaningful value and where human judgment still matters.
