Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2080.80/week -

Job Summary:

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to post-operative spine and orthopedic patients, ensuring quality, safe, and efficient patient treatment. This role requires flexibility to work holidays and adhere to state-mandated COVID vaccination policies.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Admit and assess patients, developing individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes promptly.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and observations.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current, unrestricted Colorado RN license.
  
  
• 
  Possess valid ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience in spine/ortho post-op patient care, with emphasis on med/surg skills.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
  
  
• 
  Have the ability to work flexible hours, including holidays.
  
  
• 
  Show effective communication and teamwork skills.
