About this Role:

The Architectural Designer at Aria Group is a pivotal member of the architectural and design team, actively contributing to technical and design tasks across all project phases.

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure precision and accuracy in drafting and Revit modeling standards.
• Actively contribute to the preparation and submittal of design, bid and construction documents using technical and design software.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop design features and detailed construction elements to effectively communicate design intent.
• Research and compile information on new products essential for developing design packages and construction documents.
• Apply judgment and creativity in evaluating, selecting, and applying standard architectural principles and concepts throughout the project.
• Prepare project specifications and analyze relevant data under the guidance of the project team.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of building construction, MEP, civil, and structural engineering principles.
• Contribute to the completion of code analysis, surveys, site planning and occupancy studies.
• Communicate effectively with code officials, consultants and general contractors.
• Prepare notes, review shop submittals, and respond to RFIs during the construction phase under direct supervision.
• Maintain proactive communication with senior staff to provide regular updates assigned tasks and project status.
• Learn and implement Aria Group’s established project processes and standards.
• Pursue continuous education to expand knowledge of building technology, life safety, ADA code compliance, and current design trends.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through daily interactions with the project team, clients, partners and the community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited school.
• 1-3 years of experience in an architectural or design firm.
• Strong interest in technical development and architectural documentation
• Experience within the restaurant/hospitality/entertainment sector is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, SketchUp, Enscape and Microsoft Office is a plus.
