About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Dialysis Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: In-Patient Dialysis Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 1 year of Inpatient Dialysis experience preferred. License: Valid RN License required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, SCD, CDN or CNN preferred. Must-Have: - EKG competency exam pass required. - Critical thinking skills. - Ability to access fistulas and dialysis catheters. - Ability to travel between facilities. - Experience with BBraun machines preferred. - Must work independently and autonomously. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in In-Patient Dialysis. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of inpatient dialysis experience. Experience with hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis patients is preferred, though PD experience is not required. Patient ratios are 1 RN to 3 patients in inpatient pods and 1 nurse to 1 patient on specialized units. Travel between multiple facilities is a requirement, and you will be notified of your assigned location the day before. Nursing support includes one charge nurse per shift at each facility, who may also take patient assignments. The charting system used is Meditech Expanse with additional equipment like Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis for medication dispensing. You will be required to work a flexible schedule with rotating weekends and some holiday shifts.
